The 8th grade Islanders boy's basketball team took down a pesky Pickford team tonight. 37 to 28
The 7th grade Islanders boy's basketball team dropped a tough one to Pickford this evening. 35 to 20.
Due to illness, there will no JV girls game tomorrow night against St. Ignace. There will be just a Varsity game, in DeTour, starting at 6:00. Please pass along the word to all those who may be affected. Thank you!

JV and varsity girl's Islanders basketball team were back in action this evening against Newberry. The junior varsity was victorious, but the varsity were not so fortunate.
Please note that tomorrow's JH Boys Basketball practice in DeTour is self-tranport. There will not be a bus bringing them to DeTour. We apologize for the miscommunication. Have a great day!

Designs coming to life! Anne and Fred Guith asked Mrs. Moser and Mrs. Geyer's classes to design their own unique stocking hats. So they did! Each student made a colorful drawing of a personalized stocking hat. Anne and Fred took each drawing and knitted the exact designs for the students. What a cool idea. A very special thank you to Anne and Fred Guith for making this happen.

Varsity boy's Islanders basketball team lost a tough one to Rudyard this evening, 54-37. All the elementary students had fun at halftime.
JV boy's Islanders basketball team beat Rudyard 49 to 36. Great win boys!
Here is next week's practice and game schedule for our Islanders teams. The week does not look nearly as wonky as this week was...fingers crossed it stays that way!
