Here is your weekly practice and game/meet schedule. There are many working parts at play now that we are bringing our middle school teams into the mix. Please look the schedule over carefully and contact your child's coach if you have any questions. Mother Nature may require us to make changes throughout the week, and we will notify you as soon as they happen.

Good luck to our MS Track teams who compete at LSSU this afternoon. Attached is an event order and start time. Field events will start at 4:00 and running events at 4:30. Also remember, this meet will feature our 7th and 8th grade girls and 6th-8th grade boys.

Drummond Island students enjoyed lunch in St. Ignace at B.C. Pizza before attending the play based on the children's book, "The Boy who Grew Flowers" at Cheboygan Opera House.
Good morning! This is quick reminder that next Tuesday, April 14, is our Winter Athletic Banquet at 5:30 in DeTour. Some RSVPs have already been received, but if you haven't already done so, please let Mrs. Galarowic know if you'll be attending, and how many, so enough food can be prepared. Islanders 2026 Spring Schedules
Even with snow still on the groud, our athletes are still getting the work in! Here is our practice schedule for this week...albeit a short week. Athletes, let your coaches know if you'll be in town over Spring Break or not...in case they have any workouts. Otherwise, have a terrific week off...we'll get back to work in April!
The Winter Athletic Banquet has been rescheduled!
There will be no Islanders practices today, March 17
DeTour Area Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 17 March 2026.

All of the weather uncertainty has made scheduling difficult this week...but here is something to start with. Expect changes as the week progresses and we know more about what the weather will allow us to do.
The MS Boys Basketball tournament scheduled for March 16 and 18 has been postponed. When new details are available they will be shared; this includes any practices.
Finally, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Winter Athletic Banquet until after Spring Break. Hopefully the weather will be better and more predictable by then.
If you have to venture out anywhere today or tomorrow, please be safe and check in on each other...this looks to be a nasty couple of days! We'll keep you updated on any changes as they happen.
