Good evening, Islanders!
We want to take a moment to clear up some confusion about tomorrow night's JV and Varsity Boys ballgames in Cedarville.
Please know that there will be both a JV and a Varsity game...and as of this afternoon they will both be against St. Ignace.
JV tip-off is 5:45.
Also, we will be having Parent's Night before Varsity warm-ups for our JV and Varsity teams, as well as our memorial tribute honoring Mr. Dick Carr; and at halftime of the Varsity game we'll be recognizing the 2024 4th Grade Trojans Elementary Champions.

The varsity Islanders girl's basketball team took on the Alanson Vikings this evening in DeTour. It was a dominant performance by the Islanders winning the contest 58 to 12.
The Islanders JV girl's basketball team had a big victory tonight against Alanson Vikings. Final score 60 to 4.

Tonight's JV and Varsity Boys game against NMCA has been postponed. We will work to get it rescheduled. If any boys want to get in the gym this evening, please contact your coach for available times.
JV and Vasity Girls coaches will be in touch with their players about practices/gym time.

Good afternoon...
Due a shift in weather patterns traveling north to the Soo, we have decided to postpone the MS Boys Basketball game at JKL. The game is rescheduled for Wednesday, January 29, with a 4:30 start time for 7th grade. There is also no MSBball practice today.
Many are, of course, asking about Girls Bball practice and the JV/V Boys Bball game tonight. A determination on both of these will be made within the hour. NMCA has confirmed they will be making the trip if we are able to host since they will be traveling via self-transport.

DeTour Area Schools/DATA will be closed tomorrow, Monday, 27 January 2025 due to the anticipation of high winds, rough seas, and possible whiteout conditions. A determination of after-school activities will be made as we monitor weather conditions throughout the day.
