Today, at Drummond Island Elementary, our kindergarten students learned about democracy with a mock election. Each child was able to cast their vote at the ballot box.

The Islanders volleyball team took on Mackinaw City in the first round of districts this evening. The Islanders played tough all evening, but lost the match to the Comets. Congratulations to the team on a great season.
MSGBB practice tomorrow, November 5, will be in DeTour becasue of the Fall Band Concert in Cedarville. The bus will pick up the girls at 3:00 and will return at 6:00. Thank you.

DATA 4th and 5th grade Halloween festivities. Students had to solve a clue themed escape room challenge by doing skeleton yoga, a spider crawl, and a mummy wrap.

Due to Volleyball Districts, the Monday, November 4 MSGBB game against Pickford has been moved to Wednesday, November 13...still in DeTour at 5:30.

In a back and forth contest, the Islanders 8th grade middle school girl's basketball team took on Brimley this evening. In the end Brimley held on to the win, 27 to 26.
Cedarville-DeTour Islanders 7th grade middle school girl's basketball took on JKL Bahweting this evening. The Islanders won the contest 20 to 15.

Today is Monday, October 28th, 2024
● Mrs. Newell, Mrs. Galarowic, and Mrs. Livingston would like all the high school
student council members, officers, and representatives to meet with them at
12:15 PM in the homework lab on Wednesday, October 30th. If any class
advisors are available to join us, please come with your class. We will be making
plans for the Christmas Decor Palooza Day and discussing ideas and plans for
December.
● Today’s lunch is spaghetti with meatballs.

please sign up in the school office. This opportunity is for high school students
