Since 2016, Drummond Island Elementary students of Mrs. Geyer's class have been reading the book "The Wild Robot" by Peter Brown. Today, all the students at Drummond Island Elementary were able to watch the movie on the big screen. They had a great field trip!

Here is the moment many of you have been waiting for...the release of the 2024-2025 Islanders Basketball schedules.
Please keep in mind that as the season progress, changes to the schedule are common and likely. We will notify you as soon as possible if and when they occur.
In the meantime, GO ISLANDERS!!!
Here are this year's Elementary Boys Basketball game and weekly schedules. Paper copies will be sent home on Thursday with our 4th-6th grade boys who signed up last month.
Please know, though, that possible changes may occur once the season gets started. If they do, we will get the word as soon as possible.

Today, at Drummond Island Elementary, our kindergarten students learned about democracy with a mock election. Each child was able to cast their vote at the ballot box.

The Islanders volleyball team took on Mackinaw City in the first round of districts this evening. The Islanders played tough all evening, but lost the match to the Comets. Congratulations to the team on a great season.
MSGBB practice tomorrow, November 5, will be in DeTour becasue of the Fall Band Concert in Cedarville. The bus will pick up the girls at 3:00 and will return at 6:00. Thank you.
