Good morning!
As we approach the business of our springs sports seasons, we want to make sure everyone is on the same page regarding transportation.
All of our high school , as well as our middle school track and golf, teams will have transportation provided to and from practices and games or meets.
Becasue Middle School Baseball and Softball are still club-level sports, school transportation will NOT be provided unless a run is already scheduled for another group. For example, if a bus is already going to Cedarville for other practices, then middle school baseball and softball players can catch a ride to Cedarville, but will need to arrange a ride home. For those who played last year, it is the same format.
Please refer to our Middle School Baseball and Softbal coaches, or ADs Galarowic or Miller for further clarification. Thank you...have a great weekend!

Good morning, Islanders!
Calling all High School Baseball and Softball players...practices start Tuesday!
Take a look at practice locations and times for the next two weeks. We know that the times for March 17-19 are off from what our ferry schedule is...and we are working on making sure that no one has any unnecessary wait times.
Because of the large number of players and a small indoor space, Coach Lohff will have TWO baseball practice sessions this upcoming week...one in Cedarville and one in DeTour. The boys can stay in the respective schools for their practice. Contact Mr. Lohff with any questions.
As for softball, all the girls will practice together in Cedarville this upcoming week and DeTour the following week.
All ball players, please have your glove and a good pair of running shoes.
As any changes take place, we'll let you know as soon as possible.

DeTour Area Schools will be closed today due to icy roads.
In ladies District basketball action tonight, the Cedarville-DeTour Islanders took on the Panthers of Pickford. At the half, Panthers 22 and Islanders 13. Final score. Pickford 43 and Islanders 31.
