Great win for Islanders JV boy's basketball team this evening, 58 to 45.
Monday, February 12, our Elementary Girls Basketball season kicks off for all girls in Grades 3-6 in both DATA and Drummond Elementary.

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners! They will now compete in the E.U.P. Regional Spelling Bee at Pickford High School on February 21st @ 4:00pm. Keep up the great work! We are very proud of each of you.
There will be NO JV or Varsity Girls Basketball practice today, February 9.
Also, 7th and 8th Grade Basketball practices will be from 3:00-4:30 in Cedarville.
We hope to see you all in DeTour tonight for our JV and Varsity Boys games starting at 5:45. We will have Parents and Seniors Night between the JV and Varsity games; and our K/1 Little Islanders Showcase will take place at halftime of the Varsity game.

Can you find your way out of the woods? Our kids can, they are Pathfinder Certified! Today, Drummond Island 3rd-6th graders and DATA 4th & 5th graders traveled to LSSU. They learned all about orienteering. Such as, how to use a compass, read maps and measure their paces.
There will be NO JHBBB practices today, February 8.
The Girls Varsity Basketball game in Brimley is stil on for a 6:00 start, and our JV and Varsity boys are still practicing today in Cedarville.

Drummond Island kindergarten through second grade students enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of sledding. After sledding, everyone enjoyed some hot cocoa and pizza. Thank you to Drummond Island Resort for hosting us.

Varsity Girls are practicing in DeTour at 3:30 and our JV and Varsity Boys are playing in St. Ignace starting at 5:45.

The 8th grade Islanders boy's basketball team took down a pesky Pickford team tonight. 37 to 28
The 7th grade Islanders boy's basketball team dropped a tough one to Pickford this evening. 35 to 20.
Due to illness, there will no JV girls game tomorrow night against St. Ignace. There will be just a Varsity game, in DeTour, starting at 6:00. Please pass along the word to all those who may be affected. Thank you!
