Now that winter seems to have sunk its teeth into us, we are finding that we having to drive slower than we do when the grass is green. Starting tomorrow, Mr. Martin's bus route, on Drummond Island will be picking students up, at their stops, 10 minutes earlier than our Spring and Fall routes allow for us to do. This will allow for us to make the 8:00 am ferry to the mainland. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please feel free to share.

We have a group of students from DHS going to Paris in April and they are trying to raise some extra funds for their journey. Next Saturday, December 13, they are hosting a Baked Goods sale during the boys and girls basketball games. If you would like to send in some goods to help with their sale it would be greatly appreciated!!! Or better yet, come to the ballgames snd purchase some holiday treats!!!

The halls are decked and our students are in full holiday spirit mode! Pay special attention to our Christmas Spirit Week the week of December 15th. All DATA, DAS, and Drummond Elementary students are encouraged to dress in their holiday best! We can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
Please help the students of DATA and DAS spread some holiday cheer this season with our Annual Food Drive Wars! Classes will be working hard to out-donate each other while at the same time helping our communities' local food banks. Contact a DATA or DAS student if you'd like to help...and Merry Christmas!!!

Drummond students have been hard at work making decorations to deck the school halls. Mrs Baarmans class were able to lead a Thanksgiving day parade as well.

We wanted to share a quick reminder about concession stand volunteering for the upcoming season. DeTour Sports Boosters align with the commonly used practice of randomly assigning concession shifts to families. This process helps keep the process fair and manageable for everyone. This ensures that responsibilities are distributed evenly.
If you receive a shift that conflicts with your schedule, please feel free to reach out to Hillary Galarowic, booster club president, or arrange a swap with another family. We truly appreciate your flexibility and teamwork—it helps keep our program running smoothly and supports all of our athletes. Watch for the schedule to come out in the next 1-2 days.
