Welcome to my webpage! My name is Russ Livingston, and I have enjoyed teaching in the DeTour Area Schools district for many years.  I am trying to utilize this site to help parents and students understand the expectations for my classroom.  I believe that many problems can be avoided using good communication!

Meet the Teacher

I have grown up in the Eastern Upper Penninsula. I attended college at Lake Superior State University, and then transferred to Northern Michigan University where I received my teaching degree. I have a major and minor in art, and a minor in biology.  Since then, I have also earned a masters degree in teaching.  I enjoy hunting and fishing when I can find the time!
